Tawa Fried Prawn Paneer Tikka Pulao

We usually make tikka and eat it plain or with saffron rice or any breads.But this time I made it a little differently,first I made tawa fried Paneer & Prawn Tikka and then I made Tawa Fried Pulao with that Tikka.


This recipe is fully Invented by me.The main Ingredients which I used for making this recipe are Paneer,Prawn,Bell Peppers,Basmati Rice,Yogurt,Herbs & Pav bhaji Masala along with other Indian spices.First I marinated Prawns & Paneers separately with spiced yogurt & fried them on Tawa,then mixed Tikka & all spices with pre cooked Rice & made

this yummy Tawa Fried Prawn Paneer Tikka Pulao.

Ingredients For Making Tawa Fried Prawn Paneer Tikka Pulao:

For making Paneer Tikka: 3/4 cup - Greek yogurt 1/2 Lemon - Take Out Juice From It 200 gram - Paneer Cubes 1 tsp - Ginger Paste 1 tsp - Garlic Paste 1 tsp - Roasted Cumin Powder 1 tsp - Roasted Coriander Powder 1 tsp - Chaat Masala 1/4 cup - Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/2 tsp - Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp - Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) 1 tsp - Red Chili Powder Salt as per taste 1 tbsp - Vegetable Oil Cubed Red ,Yellow , Green Bell Peppers - As Required Diced onions - As Required


For Making Prawn Tikka:


150 gram - Prawns

1/2 tsp - Ginger powder

1/2 tsp - Garlic powder

1/4 tsp - Red chili powder

1/2 tsp - Garam masala powder

1 tbsp - Greek yogurt

1 tsp - Roasted cumin & coriander powder

1  tbsp - Vegetable oil

Salt as per taste

1/2 tsp - Chaat masala

1 tsp - Lemon juice


For Making Tawa Pulao:

2 cup - Basmati rice 1 cup - Sliced onions 1 cup - Chopped carrots 1 tsp - Ginger paste 1 tsp - Garlic paste 1 - Tomato,chopped 1/2 cup - Green peas 3 tsp - Pav bhaji masala 1/4 cup - Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder 4 to 5 - Green chillies 1/2 tbsp - Butter 1 - Bay leaf 1 Inch - Cinnamon stick 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds 2 to 3 - Cloves 2 to 3 - Green cardamom 1 tbsp - Vegetable oil Salt as per taste



Other:

Metal/Wooden skewers


Steps:

First to marinate the paneer cubes and bell peppers take a bowl add yogurt,ginger & garlic paste (mentioned above under ingredients for making Paneer Tikka) into it. Then add all the spices (mentioned above under ingredients for making Paneer Tikka) red chili powder,cumin & coriander powder,crushed black peppercorns,chaat Masala,garam masala powder accordingly in to the bowl. Add chopped cilantro,kasuri methi,lemon juice & salt as per your taste & oil (mentioned above under ingredients for making Paneer Tikka),mix all the ingredients well & make a lump free batter. Now add paneer cubes,onion & bell pepper cubes.Mix well until coated properly. Covered the bowl and keep it in refrigerator for over night or at least 1-2 hours.

Clean the prawns properly & pour them in a bowl,add yogurt,ginger & garlic powder,lemon juice,roasted coriander & cumin powder,red chili powder,salt,chaat masala (mentioned above under ingredients for making Prawn Tikka) into it. Mix all ingredients together & marinate prawns properly and keep aside for 15 minutes. Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the marinated shrimps till golden brown.

Wash the rice and then soak them into the water for 15 minutes.


Now drain the excess water from the rice.Heat a saucepan full of water,add soaked rice & little salt into it.Boil the rice until 90% tender.Pour the boiled rice in a strainer,rinse it with running cold tap water and keep aside for drain off excess water.


Now spread the rice over the plate. If you are using wooden skewers soak them 30 minutes - 1 hour  before using to avoid the skewers burning. Take out the marinated paneer & vegetables from refrigerator,take the skewers and put the paneer and vegetables on to this sticks accordingly. Now heat a tawa & brush some cooking oil all over the paneer & veggies and place the skewers (kebab sticks) on the Tawa.Cook them on low to medium heat. Keep turning the sticks and cook each side evenly until paneer and veggies cooked properly. When all the sides of the paneer and veggies cooked well turn off the flame and keep aside.

Now heat butter and oil in a frying pan and add bay leaf,whole cumin seeds,cloves,cardamom and cinnamon into it.When the smell starts to come out from the masala,add onion slices. Once the onion is well fried,add carrot pieces and keep frying with onions until soft. Now add ginger garlic paste and fry them until raw smell goes off.Add chopped tomatoes in to the pan and cook them until tender. When the tomato becomes soft add green Peas,turmeric powder,pav bhaji masala and salt to taste and a little warm hot water in to the pan,mix well & cook for 8-10 minutes or until raw smell goes off from masala & oil starts to separate from the masala. Now add rice,green chillies and coriander leaves into the frying pan.Add salt if needed.Add

prepared prawn and paneer tikka ,mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat. Turn off the flame & enjoy Tawa Fried Prawn Paneer Tikka Pulao hot with salads.

How To Make Tawa Fried Prawn Paneer Tikka Pulao Recipe With Step By Step Photos:

Keep turning the sticks and cook each side evenly until paneer and veggies cooked properly. When all the sides of the paneer and veggies cooked well turn off the flame and keep aside.

Now heat butter and oil in a frying pan and add bay leaf,whole cumin seeds,cloves,cardamom and cinnamon into it.When the smell starts to come out from the masala,add onion slices.


Once the onion is well fried,add carrot pieces and keep frying with onions until soft.

Now add ginger garlic paste and fry them until raw smell goes off.Add chopped tomatoes in to the pan and cook them until tender.
